The Georgia Urban Ag Council (UAC) is proud to announce the winners of the 2024 Georgia Landscape Awards (GALA). UAC promotes professionalism, adherence to industry standards, and education. The association’s GALA awards program serves all three goals.

The 2024 awards included 11 entries in six categories, encompassing design/build/installation, landscape management, and seasonal color. UAC members submitted photographs and project descriptions which were judged by a panel of industry experts without knowledge of company names. Entries do not compete against each other; they are evaluated using criteria specific to the category to determine the award earned.

  • Bronze: For projects that met the standard in the category
  • Silver: For projects judged as superior in their overall evaluation
  • Gold: For projects judged as greatly exceeding all criteria for the category
  • Judges’ Choice: For a project that “WOW”ed the judges
  • Newcomer of the Year: For a member who joined UAC in 2020 or later
  • Supplier of the Year: To recognize outstanding performance that enable our UAC contractor members to succeed
  • Legislative Friend of the Industry: For a dedicated Georgia legislator who advocates for Georgia’s urban ag industry

Photos and descriptions of winning projects were presented at the awards banquet on March 19, 2024 at Piedmont Park in Atlanta. Company representatives received their award and a well-deserved ovation from their peers.
