Save the date: Spring in the Courtyard 2026

Now is the time to gather alongside your peers for one last networking (and learning!) event before the busy season truly begins.

Join us on Tuesday, April 14 for “Spring in the Courtyard” at Topiary Courtyard in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. Three experts in sustainable landscape design will lead us through problem solving and future-proofing your designs, installs, and job proposals for a smarter 2026.

With a possible drought on the horizon, it helps to have a toolkit of solutions for how to handle drier conditions. Instead of throwing in the towel and telling your clients, “Sorry, no way, we can’t plant that now,” build your confidence while understanding what your true options are. This panel discussion will focus on designing with every drop in mind – and how to create a sustainable landscape that works for your clients and your bottom line.

As drought pressure and water restrictions become a growing reality, the future of landscaping depends on smarter design and more water-wise maintenance. This session will highlight practical, real-world strategies for creating beautiful, resilient landscapes that conserve water without sacrificing function or curb appeal. From plant selection and layout to irrigation and long-term care, attendees will gain ideas they can put to work right away.

Join Heather Kirk-Ballard, UGA Sustainable Urban Landscapes, Pam Dooly of Plants Creative Landscapes, and Roxy Drew of Shades of Green Permaculture for a timely conversation on designing and maintaining landscapes for a drier, more sustainable future.
