We are pleased to announce that the Metro Atlanta Landscape and Turf Association (MALTA), the Georgia Turfgrass Association (GTA) and the Georgia Sod Producers Association (GSPA) have recently merged to become the Georgia Urban Agriculture Council (UAC).
UAC is Georgia's premier organization for all sectors of the urban agriculture industry:
- landscape installation, design and maintenance
- turf grass and sod growers
- the nursery and horticulture industry
- landscape architects
- irrigation contractors
- green wholesalers
- retail garden centers
- floriculturists
- florists
- golf courses
UAC promotes professionalism, adherence to industry standards and education and serves as a consumer and industry resource for residential and commercial clients.
We work closely with the University of Georgia, Georgia's Cooperative Extension Service, and horticulture educators throughout the state.
